- Promoting, supervising, regulating and co-ordinating the activities of the 23 Local Government Areas in Bauchi State.
- Managing all matters relating to the Traditional Institutions in the State. Proposing policies and programmes aimed at enhancing security and maintenance of Law and Order as well being and betterment of various communities in the State.
